CNN has published a new video interview with composer James Horner about his music for James Camerson’s Titanic. The video feature includes footage from the 1997 scoring sessions for the bestselling soundtrack. Horner talks about writing the score and the hit song My Heart Will Go On, both of which earned him his first two Academy Awards. Check out the full video after the jump. A new 4-disc soundtrack edition for the movie’s reissue has been released on Sony Classical. Titanic 3D is now playing in theaters.
Horner also recently was a guest on BBC Radio 2’s Elaine Paige on Sunday show. Apart from his work on Titanic, he talked about his music for animated films, including An American Tail, his scores for Apollo 13 and Braveheart and briefly mentions his next major feature project The Amazing Spider-Man.
