Varese Sarabande has announced two new soundtrack albums today to be released in April. Among the new releases is the soundtrack for the horror thriller The Cabin in the Woods. The album includes the original score form the film by David Julyan (Memento, The Descent) and will be released on April 4, 2012. The Cabin in the Woods written by Joss Whedon and directed by Drew Goddard stars Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford. The label has also announced a soundtrack release for the third season of the FOX sci-fi show Fringe. The album features the original score from the third season of the show by Chris Tilton. The soundtrack will also be released on April 4 and the full details are expected to be published in the near future.
