Gabriel Mann is scoring a couple of new TV shows that are set to premiere in 2012. Among the composer’s new projects is the half-hour comedy Bent. Jeffrey Tambor, Margo Harshman and Joey King are co-starring. Craig Zisk (Nurse Jackie, Weeds) directed the first two episodes. The Universal Media Studios-produced show is set to premiere as a mid-season replacement this spring on NBC. No exact release date has been announced yet. She finds herself juggling life both as a regular high school student and as an assistant to a high powered executive in the world of fashion. The series stars Erica Dasher, Andie MacDowell, Nick Roux, Rowly Dennis, India de Beaufort, Meagan Tandy and Matthew Atkinson. Gavin Polone (Gilmore Girls), John Ziffren (Melissa & Joey) and show creator April Blair (Lemonade Mouth) are executive producing the drama. Jane by Design will premiere on January 3, 2012 and is scheduled to air every Tuesday night on ABC Family. Jenny Bicks (Sex and the City) created the show and is also executive producing with Gail Berman (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Lloyd Braun & Gene Stein (Alphas) and Alan Poul (The Back-up Plan).
