Lakeshore Records has announced the details of the soundtrack release for the indie drama Answers to Nothing. The album features the original score by composer Craig Richey (Friends with Money, The King of Kong: A Fistful of Dollars), as well as several songs from the movie by artists including Nico Vega, Brian Vander Ark and Imagine Dragons. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 20, 2011 and on CD on January 31, 2012. To pre-order the album, visit Amazon. Check back for audio clips on this page in a few weeks. Answers to Nothing is directed by Matthew Leutwyler and stars Dane Cook, Elizabeth Mitchell, Julie Benz, Barbara Hershey, Kali Hawk and Zach Gilford. Your attribution is incorrect that the final song, “Fade,” is by Imagine Dragons. It is not.
It is a duet/collaboration between Aja Volkman (who is in the film, and fronts Nico Vega) and Dan Reynolds (the lead singer of Imagine Dragons).
You are absolutely correct. The band performing, “Fade,” is called Egyptian, and is a collaboration of Aja Volkman (Nico Vega) and Dan Reynolds (Imagine Dragons). Someone at the record label (Lakeshore) screwed up big time on this. I’m not sure who, to this day……
