Varese Sarabande has announced a score release for the upcoming drama The Help. The film’s music is composed by Thomas Newman. The soundtrack will be released on September 13, 2011. The album is now available for pre-order on Amazon. More details including cover art and track list will be posted on this page within the next few weeks. The Help is directed by Tate Taylor and stars Emma Stone, Allison Janney, Sissy Spacek, Viola Davis, Bryce Dallas Howard, Mike Vogel and Cicely Tyson. The movie based on the best-selling novel by Kathryn Stockett about the conflicted and complex relationships between Southern women and their housekeepers at the beginning of the civil rights movement will be released in theaters on August 12.
