A number of interviews with composer Alexandre Desplat on his score for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 have been published over the last couple of days. AinItCoolNews conducted an interview with the composer talking in detail on how he got involved in the project and his approach to the movie’s score. Daniel Schweiger from Film Music Magazine also did an interview with Desplat talking about working on Harry Potter and also confirming his involvement in involvement in the last part of the series. Finally, the British radio station Classic FM uploaded a short audio interview with the composer where he talks about following the footsteps of John Williams, Patrick Doyle and Nicholas Hooper and working with the LSO, which recorded his soundtrack for the movie.
