Film Music Reporter has learned that John Ottman is currently finishing up work on the upcoming mystery thriller Unknown (previously entitled Unknown White Male). In the movie, a man awakens from a coma, only to discover that someone has taken on his identity and that no one believes him. With the help of a young woman, he sets out to prove who he is. The movie stars Liam Neeson, January Jones, Diane Kruger, Frank Langella and Aidan Quinn. The project marks Ottman’s third collaboration with director Jaume Collet-Serra after House of Wax and last year’s Orphan. Unknown is produced by Joel Silver, who has worked with Ottman on numerous projects such as Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Gothika and most recently on this year’s The Losers. Warner Bros Pictures will release the movie domestically on February 18, 2011. To check out the recently released movie trailer, check out the official movie webpage.
