Oli Julian (Sex Education, Breeders, The Full Monty, Catastrophe, How to Build a Girl) & Nick Foster (Thunderbirds Are Go, Misha and the Wolves, Greatest Days, In My Skin) have teamed up to score the upcoming British Disney+ original series Renegade Nell. The show is created by Sally Wainwright (Gentleman Jack, Happy Valley) and stars Louisa Harland, Nick Mohammed, Frank Dillane, Adrian Lester, Alice Kremelberg, Joely Richardson, Pip Torrens, Ényì Okoronkwo, Jake Dunn, Bo Bragason and Florence Keen. The 8-part fantasy adventure centers on a quick-witted and courageous young woman who finds herself framed for murder and unexpectedly becomes the most notorious highwaywoman in 18th Century England. Wainwright is also executive producing the Lookout Point production with Faith Penhale (War & Peace, Les Miserables), Will Johnston (A Suitable Boy) and Louise Mutter, as well as Ben Taylor (Sex Education) who also directed multiple episodes. Renegade Nell will premiere in the spring of 2024 on Disney+.
