Quartet Records has released a soundtrack EP for Pedro Almodóvar’s western short Strange Way of Life (Extraña forma de vida). The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Alberto Iglesias (The Constant Gardener, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Parallel Mothers, Volver, The Kite Runner, The Skin I Live In). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. A CD version is available to order on Amazon and the label’s official website. Strange Way of Life is written and directed by Almodóvar and stars Ethan Hawke and Pedro Pascal. The movie follows two gunmen who reunite after 25 years.The short just premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released later this year by Sony Pictures Classics.
