Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day) has recently recorded his score for the pilot episode of the upcoming TNT original series Snowpiercer. The show, which was originally written by Josh Friedman (War of the Worlds, The Black Dahlia) and later developed by Graeme Manson (Orphan Black), is based on Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 feature of the same title (scored Marco Beltrami) and stars Daveed Diggs, Jennifer Connelly, Mickey Sumner, Annalise Basso, Sasha Frolova, Alison Wright, Benjamin Haigh and Roberto Urbina. The drama picks up seven years after the world becomes a frozen wasteland and follows the remnants of humanity who inhabit a gigantic, perpetually moving train that circles the globe. No producer credits have been confirmed yet. McCreary has previously collaborated with Friedman on the Fox’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Snowpiercer will premiere later this year in the U.S. on TNT and internationally on Netflix.
