Mychael Danna is currently scoring the upcoming biographical drama On the Basis of Sex. The film is directed by Mimi Leder (Deep Impact, The Peacemaker) and stars Felicity Jones as Ruth Bader Ginsburg, alongside Armie Hammer, Jack Reynor, Stephen Root, Justin Theroux, Kathy Bates, Sam Waterston and Cailee Spaeny. The movie follows Ruth Bader & Marty Ginsburg as they team up to bring the first landmark gender discrimination case before the Supreme Court. Ginsburg’s nephew, Daniel Stiepleman wrote the screenplay. Robert Cort (Mr. Holland’s Opus, Save the Last Dance, Cocktail) is producing the Participant Media production.
