Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, Capote, Little Miss Sunshine) is composing the music for the upcoming drama The Red Sea Diving Resort. The film is written and directed by Gideon Raff (Prisoners of War) and stars Chris Evans, Haley Bennett, Michael K. Williams, Michiel Huisman, Alessandro Nivola, Greg Kinnear and Ben Kingsley. The movie tells the story of an Israeli agent who runs a secret Mossad operation with a ragtag team of spies to smuggle thousands of persecuted Ethiopian Jews to safety under the cover of a fictitious diving resort in 1981. Raff is also producing the project with Alexandra Milchan (The Terror, Paranoia) for EMJAG Productions and Aaron L. Gilbert (The Birth of a Nation, Tully) for Bron Studios. Danna has previously collaborated with Raff on the FX series Tyrant, which the composer co-scored with Jeff Danna and earned them two Emmy Award nominations. The Red Sea Diving Resort is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
