Jon Ehrlich & Jason Derlatka and Black Violin are composing the music for the new Fox drama Pitch. The show is created by Dan Fogelman (Crazy, Stupid, Love, Tangled, Galavant, Danny Collins) & Rick Singer and stars Kylie Bunbury, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ali Larter, Mark Consuelos, Dan Lauria, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder and Tim Jo. The series tells the story of Ginny Baker, who becomes the first woman to play Major League Baseball – under the glare of a white-hot media spotlight. Fogelman and Singer are also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Kevin Falls (Summer Catch), Tony Bill (The Sting, Flyboys), Helen Bartlett (Untamed Heart), Jess Rosenthal and Paris Barclay (Sons of Anarchy). Ehrlich and Derlatka whose previous credits include such TV shows as House, Parenthood and About a Boy serve as the main composers of the show. The project marks the scoring debut of the hip hop duo Black Violin who are known for their work combining hip hop with classical music. The duo co-scored the pilot episode with Ehrlich & Derlatka and will provide additional music for the following episodes.
