Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the horror comedy The Final Girls. The album features the film’s original music composed by Gregory James Jenkins. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 6, 2015 and physically on December 4. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD. The Final Girls is directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and stars Taissa Farmiga, Malin Akerman, Alexander Ludwig, Nina Dobrev, Alia Shawkat, Thomas Middleditch, Adam Devine, Angela Trimbur, Chloe Bridges and Tory N. Thompson. The movie follows a girl who is grieving the loss of her horror movie star mother and gets mysteriously sucked into the world of her mother’s most famous horror movie. The comedy premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and was released last month in select theaters and on VOD by Vertical Entertainment and is now also available on Blu-ray and DVD.
