Jeff Russo and Zoe Keating have taken over scoring duties on the WGN America original series Manhattan. The show is created by Sam Shaw and stars John Benjamin Hickey, Olivia Williams, William Petersen, Ashley Zukerman, Rachel Brosnahan, Harry Lloyd, Katja Herbers, Christopher Denham, Michael Chernus, Harry Lloyd, Mamie Gummer and Griffin Dunne. The drama is set Los Alamos, New Mexico during World War II and follows the brilliant but flawed scientists who built the first atomic bomb and their families. Shaw is also executive producing the Lionsgate Television, Skydance Television and Tribune Studios production with Thomas Schlamme, Dustin Thomason, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Marcy Ross. The music for the show’s first season was composed by Sigur Rós front man Jónsi & Alex Somers. Russo and Keating have previously co-scored A&E’s zombie drama The Returned Season 2 of Manhattan set to premiere on October 13, 2015 and will air every Tuesday night on WGN America.
