Jesse Novak has been tapped to score the upcoming Netflix animated series BoJack Horseman. The show is created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg and features the voices of Will Arnett, Amy Sedaris, Alison Brie and Aaron Paul. The animated comedy centers around whiskey-drinking humanoid horse and former TV star BoJack who deals with his personal crises with a human sidekick and a feline agent and ex-lover. Bob-Waksberg is also executive producing the project with Arnett, Paul, Steven A. Cohen (Jack & Bobby, Commander-in-Chief) and Noel Bright. The first season of BoJack Horseman is set to premiere on August 22, 2014 on Netflix.
Novak is best known for his music for the Fox comedy The MindyProject, which will return for a third season this fall.
