Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller The Signal. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nima Fakhrara (Exists, The Courier). Also included is the original song 2.3.5.41, which the composer wrote with hip hop producer Free the Robots. The soundtrack will be released on June 10, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Signal is directed by William Eubank and stars Brenton Thwaites, Olivia Cooke, Beau Knapp, Laurence Fishburne, Lin Shaye, Robert Longstreet and Jeffrey Grover. The movie follows three college students who become the targets of a rival computer hacker and are being lured to an abandoned shack in the middle of the desert. The thriller premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival will be released on June 13 by Focus Features. To learn more about the film, visit the official movie website.
