WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the action adventure epic 300: Rise of an Empire. The album features the film’s original music composed by Junkie XL (Divergent, Paranoia). The soundtrack will be released on March 4, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check back on this page for audio clips. 300: Rise of an Empire is directed by Noam Murro and stars Sullivan Stapleton, Rodrigo Santoro, Eva Green, Callan Mulvey, Jack O’Connell and Lena Headey. The movie based on Frank Miller’s latest graphic novel Xerxes follows Greek general Themistokles attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war. Snyder is not the director, which is why Bates is not doing it.
After being sued for plagiarism, I’m not surprised he wasn’t contacted for the second film. It has nothing to do with Snyder not directing.
Is Xer a man before this or is that a flashback to his normal days. Then he is painted gold and pierced. becomes a god like. I’m not sure if it is prequel or post-quell.
It is both. It starts before 300 and ends way after it.
