Off the Grid Music has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Blackfish. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Rome, Appaloosa, Monk). The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. Blackfish is directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite and traces a 39 year history of killer whales in captivity leading up to a 2010 incident where an experienced Sea World trainer was killed by a 12,000 lb. whale. The documentary premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and was released released in theaters last month by Magnolia Pictures.
