Paul Leonard-Morgan has taken over scoring duties on the upcoming family action adventure Walking with Dinosaurs 3D. The movie is helmed by Neil Nightingale & Barry Cook (Mulan, Arthur Christmas) and follows two brothers looking to follow in their father’s footsteps, which leads them to a showdown with dinosaurs in the Arctic. John Collee (Happy Feet, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World) and Theodore Thomas have co-written the screenplay. Mike Devlin, Amanda Hill and Deepak Nayar (Bend It Like Beckham, Lost Highway) are producing the BBC Earth, Evergreen Films and Reliance Big Entertainment production. Leonard-Morgan has previously scored the comic book adaptation Dredd for Reliance Big Entertainment. The composer whose previous credits also include Limitless and The Numbers Station is taking over for David Hirschfelder who was previously attached to score the film as reported earlier this year. Leonard-Morgan has also scored the 3D action adventure Legendary: Tomb of the Dragon. The film is directed by Eric Styles (Relative Values) and stars Scott Adkins, Dolph Lundgren, Huang Yi and Lydia Leonard. The movie follows a cryptozoologist and his team who travel to China on a mission to capture a Cryptid which is wreaking havoc in a remote village. Andy Briggs has written the screenplay and Christopher Milburn (An American Haunting, Relative Values) is producing the Midsummer Films and China Film Group production with Matthew Kuipers and Robert Jones (Dirty Pretty Things, Centurion). Legendary: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor will be released in China this month. No word yet on a domestic release.
