Hollywood Records will release the original motion picture soundtrack for Marvel’s Iron Man 3. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Brian Tyler (Eagle Eye, Fast Five, The Expendables). The soundtrack will be released on April 30, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out the full track list after the jump. As previously reported, the label will also release a soundtrack featuring songs from and inspired by the film on the same day. Iron Man 3 directed by Shane Black and starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley will be released nationwide on May 3, 2013 by Walt Disney Pictures. Frankly, my expectations from Tyler are pretty low (he has never made anything, that would capture my interest), but I’d like to be surprised by the score.
Tyler mentioned on his Facebook that he wrote an thematic, orchestral and choral score. And that the London Philharmonic Orchestra brought an old-school, but epic vibe to the score.
Can’t wait for this one! I love Brian Tyler, even though he hasn’t been at the top of his game lately! I’m sure he’s gonna deliver big time on this one!
