Craig Wedren is scoring the upcoming indie comedy drama Thanks for Sharing. The film marks the directorial debut of Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Stuart Blumberg (The Kids Are All Right) and stars Mark Ruffalo, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim Robbins, Joely Richardson, Patrick Fugit, Josh Gad and Alecia Moore. The movie revolves around a group of unlikely friends who are brought together through their shared determination to recover from sex addiction and forge meaningful relationships for the first time in their lives. Blumberg co-wrote the screenplay with actor Matt Winston. Leslie Urdang, Dean Vanech & Miranda de Pencier (Rabbit Hole, Beginners) are producing the project for Olympus Pictures and Bill Migliore & David Koplan (Leaves of Grass) are producing for Phase 5 Films. Edward Norton is involved as an executive producer. No release date has been announced yet for Thanks for Sharing, but a premiere at a major film festival later this year seems likely.
Wedren also has the comedy Wanderlust directed by David Wain and starring Jennifer Aniston, Paul Rudd, Malin Akerman, Ray Liotta and Justin Theroux coming up. The movie produced by Judd Apatow is scheduled for a release on February 24, 2012 by Universal Pictures. Check out the trailer below and visit the official movie website for updates on the film.
