Watertower Music will be releasing the official soundtrack album for Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. The album includes the original score from the movie by Hans Zimmer. Lorne Balfe who was involved as a soundtrack producer on the first film in 2009 is again co-producing the music with Zimmer. Also included on the album are three tracks from recordings of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Schubert’s Die Forelle and Ennio Morricone’s score for Two Mules for Sister Sara. The soundtrack will be released on December 13, 2011 and is available for pre-order on Amazon. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows stars Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams,Stephen Fry, Jared Harris and Noomi Rapace. The sequel is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 16.
