Intrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the complete score for the 1985 mystery adventure Young Sherlock Holmes directed by Barry Levinson, written by Chris Columbus, presented by Steven Spielberg and starring Nicholas Rowe. The film’s music is composed and conducted by Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Lost in Space, Rescuers Down Under). The 2-CD set features the entire 90-minutes score, as well as several alternates and “extras”. The original 1986 soundtrack album only featured a little over half an hour of the composer’s score.
