Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film Apex. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Högni (aka Högni Egilsson) (Touch, King & Conqueror, Under the Tree, Against the Current). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 24 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The movie is directed by Baltasar Kormákur (2 Guns, Everest) and stars Charlize Theron, Taron Egerton and Eric Bana. The thriller follows a woman testing her limits in the Australian wilderness who is suddenly ensnared in a deadly game with a ruthless predator. Jeremy Robbins wrote the screenplay.
Högni Egilsson Scoring BBC’s ‘King & Conqueror’
Högni Egilsson (Touch, Under the Tree, Against the Current) has composed the original score for the new BBC drama King & Conqueror. The show is created by Michael Robert Johnson (Sherlock Holmes, Pompeii) and stars James Norton, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Emily Beecham, Eddie Marsan, Clémence Poésy, Juliet Stevenson, Clare Holman, Bo Bragason, Luther Ford and Indy Lewis. The 8-part historical drama tells the story of Harold of Wessex and William of Normandy, two allies who were destined to meet at the Battle of Hastings in 1066 and found themselves forced by circumstance and personal obsession into a war for possession of its crown.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the romantic dramedy Fly Me to the Moon directed by Greg Berlanti and starring Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum, Ray Romano, Jim Rash, Woody Harrelson, Anna Garcia, Nick Dillenburg and Colin Woodell. The film’s original music is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, Enola Holmes, Ocean’s 8, The Trial of the Chicago 7, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.). Platoon has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. The details of the soundtrack album for the Icelandic romantic drama Touch have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Högni Egilsson (Under the Tree, Against the Current). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 12 by Back Lot Music and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released the composer’s love theme (Broken Thread) as a digital single last Friday. Touch is co-written and directed by Baltasar Kormákur and stars Egill Olafsson, Kōki, Masahiro Motoki, Sigurdur Ingvarsson, Yoko Narahashi and Palmi Kormakur. The movie is based on Ólafur Jóhann Ólafsson’s bestselling novel of the same name and tells the story of a widower’s journey to find his first love who disappeared 50 years ago, before his time runs out.
