Leo Birenberg (Cobra Kai, Bottoms, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, Son of Zorn, Florida Man) has teamed up with Ramiro Zamarripa (How to Rob a Bank) to score the upcoming documentary The Man Who Saves the World? The film is written, directed and produced by Gabe Polsky and tells the story of Patrick McCollum, a spiritual leader and peace advocate who finds himself at the very center of an ancient prophecy that could decide the fate of our planet. Peter Farrelly (Green Book, There’s Something About Mary), Danny McBride & Jody Hill (Eastbound & Down, The Righteous Gemstone) and David Gordon Green (Halloween, Pineapple Express) are among the project’s executive producers.

‘Butcher’s Crossing’ Soundtrack to Be Released
Atlantic Screen Music/Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album for the western Butcher’s Crossing. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Leo Birenberg (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Bottoms, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, Son of Zorn, Twisted Metal). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 24 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Butcher’s Crossing is co-written and directed by Gabe Polsky and stars Nicolas Cage, Fred Hechinger, Jeremy Bobb, Xander Berkeley, Paul Raci and Rachel Keller. The movie is set in the 1870s and tells the story of a buffalo hunter who lures a naïve young man into an ambitious expedition in the Colorado Rockies.

Composer Leo Birenberg (Cobra Kai, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, PEN15, Son of Zorn, Secret Society of Second-Born Royals) is reteaming with director Gabe Polsky (Genius, The Motel Life) on the upcoming western Butcher’s Crossing. The film starring Nicolas Cage, Fred Hechinger, Jeremy Bobb, Xander Berkeley, Rachel Keller & Paul Raci is set in the 1870s and tells the story of a buffalo hunter who lures a naïve young man into an ambitious expedition in the Colorado Rockies. Polsky also co-wrote the screenplay with Liam Satre-Meloy based on John Williams’ 1960 literary western.
