The drama based on Juliette Benzoni’s historical romance novels and explores the relationship that develops between two startlingly different, yet equally powerful, women in 17th century France: the free-spirited Marie de Rohan, Duchess of Chevreuse and the shy, extremely proud, straight-laced Anne of Austria, Queen of France.
