Stephanie Economou (Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, Jupiter’s Legacy, Manhunt: Deadly Games, Step Up, The Chair, Marvel’s 616) has composed the original score for the upcoming comedy About My Father. The film is directed by Laura Terruso (Work It, Good Girls Get High) and stars Sebastian Maniscalco, Robert De Niro, Leslie Bibb, Anders Holm, Brett Dier, David Rasche and Kim Cattrall. The movie follows a man who is encouraged by his fiancée to bring his immigrant, hairdresser father to a weekend get-together with her super-rich and exceedingly eccentric family. Maniscalco also co-wrote the screenplay with Austen Earl (Happy Together). Andrew Miano (A Single Man, The Farewell), Paul Weitz (American Pie, Fatherhood), Chris Weitz (About a Boy, The Golden Compass) and Judi Marmel are producing the Depth of Field production. About My Father will be released in theaters nationwide on May 26, 2023 by Lionsgate.
