Music Box Records has announced a soundtrack album for the animated feature Argonuts (Pattie et la colère de Poséidon). The album features the film’s original music composed and orchestrated by Olivier Cussac (Terra Willy, The Jungle Bunch, Pil) and performed by the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France conducted by Dirk Brossé. The CD version is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. A digital version will be released this Friday, January 20 (click here to stream/download). Argonuts is directed by David Alaux and tells the story of a young super smart and adventurous mouse who sets off to fight the most dangerous and bizarre creatures in Ancient Greece, including Poseidon himself. The animated adventure produced by TAT Productions will be released in French theaters on January 25 and in other European markets in the following weeks. Viva Kids has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release in the U.S. later this year.
