The full details of the latest soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Discovery have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fourth season composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Fargo, Legion, The Night Of, Star Trek: Picard, The Umbrella Academy, Lucy in the Sky). Also included is Annabelle Wallis’ rendition of the Harold Arlen- & Ted Koehler-penned song Stormy Weather. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, August 26 by Lakeshore Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released multiple albums featuring Russo’s score from Season 1, Season 2 and Season 3. Star Trek: Discovery is developed by Alex Kurtzman & Bryan Fuller and stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Shazad Latif, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, Jason Isaacs, Anson Mount, Wilson Cruz, David Ajala, Blu del Barrio, Rachael Ancheril and Tig Notaro. The fourth season of the sci-fi series premiered in late 2021 and early 2022 and is now available to stream on Paramount+. A fifth season is set to debut in 2023.
