Carly Paradis (Line of Duty, The Innocents, The Rising, The Pembrokeshire Murders, Sick Note, Prime Suspect 1973) is the composer of the new BBC series The Control Room. The show is written by Nick Leather (Murdered For Being Different, Rocket’s Island) and stars Iain De Caestecker and Joanna Vanderham. The 3-part thriller follows an an emergency call handler for the Strathclyde Ambulance Service in Glasgow whose world is turned upside down when he receives a desperate life-and-death call from a distressed woman who appears to know him. Elaine Cameron (Wolf) is executive producing the Hartswood Films production with BBC’s Gaynor Holmes (Vigil, The Cry). Amy Neil has directed all episodes. The Control Room will premiere this coming Sunday, July 17 in the UK on BBC One and will also be available to stream on the BBCiPlayer.
Paradis is also expected to return to score the second of AcornTV’s Whitstable Pearl.
