Marius de Vries (Coda, Strange Magic, Kick-Ass, Navalny, Sucker Punch) will serve as the executive music producer of the upcoming period drama Mary’s Monster. He will also be executive producing the film directed by Farren Blackburn (Shut In, Hammer of the Gods) and starring Clara Rugaard as Frankenstein author Mary Shelley and Kit Harington as the titular monster, as well as Ferdia Walsh-Peelo and Sebastian de Souza. The movie centers on Sheeley’s mental struggle to write her seminal novel. Deborah Baxtrom and Stephen Hallett wrote the screenplay. Fulwell 73’s Leo Pearlman (Cinderella, White Island) and Heather Greenwood are producing the project for Fulwell 73, alongside Rose Ganguzza (Kill Your Darlings, Poms), Max Born (The Devil All the Time, James White), Jake Alden-Falconer (1BR) and Damon Lane for Rose Pictures. Mary’s Monster is set to shoot this August in the UK. (Deadline)
