Intrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the complete score for the 1991 sci-fi movie Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Cliff Eidelman has composed the music for the film directed by Nicholas Meyer and starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley and Christopher Plummer. The 2-CD set features the complete score written by the composer on one disc and the original 1991 soundtrack album on the other disc. Also included are several alternates plus both trailer scores, to date the only original trailer music recorded for a Star Trek film. The label has also announced the world premiere release of the score for the 1973 adventure film Sir Gawain and the Green Knight directed by Stephen Weeks and starring Nigel Green and Murray Head.
