Pino Donaggio (Carrie, Dressed to Kill, Body Double, The Howling, Blow Out) has been tapped to score the upcoming comedy Spin Me Round. The film is directed by Jeff Baena (The Little Hours, Horse Girl) and stars Alison Brie, Alessandro Nivola, Aubrey Plaza, Molly Shannon, Ayden Mayeri, Zach Woods, Ben Sinclair, Tim Heidecker, Debby Ryan and Fred Armisen. The movie follows the manager of an Italian restaurant chain who travels to Italy when she wins the opportunity to attend the franchise’s educational immersion program. Baena & Brie co-wrote the screenplay. They are also producing the project with Mel Eslyn (The One I Love, Room 104), Dylan Sellers (Footloose, Agent Cody Banks) and Chris Parker (Palm Springs). Spin Me Round will premiere next month at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival.
