La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1946 classic It’s a Wonderful Life directed by Frank Capra and starring James Stewart, Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore. The album features the newly remastered original original score from the Paramount Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Dimitri Tiomkin (High Noon, Giant, The Alamo, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, The Guns of Navarone), including the film version of the Main Title and music from the film’s trailer. The CD, which is being released coinciding with the movie’s 75th anniversary, is limited 2,000 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples. It’s a Wonderful Life is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
