Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, The Angry Birds Movie, Smallfoot, The Smurfs, Beverly Hills Chihuahua) has composed the original score for the new Netflix animated film My Little Pony: A New Generation. The film is directed by Robert Cullen & José Ucha, co-directed by Mark Fattibene and features the voice talent of Vanessa Hudgens, Kimiko Glenn, James Marsden, Sofia Carson, Liza Koshy, Ken Jeong, Elizabeth Perkins, Jane Krakowski, Michael McKean and Phil LaMarr. The movie based on Hasbro’s My Little Pony franchise follows Sunny, an idealistic Earth Pony and Izzy, a curious Unicorn who must embark on an adventure that will take them to faraway lands to make new friends out of old enemies. Gillian Berrow & Tim Sullivan (Jack & Sarah, Letters to Juliet) wrote the screenplay based on a story by Cullen, Ucha and Sullivan. Cecil Kramer (Flushed Away) and Peter Lewis are producing the Entertainment One and Boulder Media production. My Little Pony: A New Generation will premiere this Friday, September 24 exclusively on Netflix.
