Music Box Records has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature Pil. The album features the film’s original music composed and orchestrated by Olivier Cussac (Terra Willy, The Jungle Bunch) and performed by the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. A CD version of the soundtrack is available to order on Amazon and on the label’s official website. Pil is directed by Julien Fournet and follows an orphaned young girl who lives in the medieval city of Misty Rock and – when a cruel regent curses the heir to the throne – embarks on a quest to find the antidote to save his life and safeguard the kingdom. The movie was released in French theaters last week. No word yet on a domestic release.
