French electric music producer Para One (aka Jean-Baptiste de Laubier) has released a soundtrack EP featuring his music from Céline Sciamma’s drama Petite Maman. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Petite Maman written and directed by Sciamma (Portrait of a Lady on Fire) and stars Joséphine Sanz, Gabrielle Sanz, Stéphane Varupenne, Nina Meurisse and Margo Abascal. The movie follows an 8-year-old girl who loses her beloved grandmother and goes to help her parents clean out her mother’s childhood home, when she meets a girl her same age building a treehouse in the surrounding woods. The drama, which premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, has just been released in French theaters last week. Neon has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release in the U.S. later this year.
