Lele Marchitelli (The Young Pope, The New Pope, The Great Beauty, Loro) has composed the original score for the new HBO limited series Mare of Easttown. The show is created by Brad Ingelsby (The Way Back, Out of the Furnace) and stars Kate Winslet, Julianne Nicholson, Jean Smart, Angourie Rice, Evan Peters, Guy Pearce, David Denman, Joe Tippett, Cailee Spaeny, John Douglas Thompson, Patrick Murney, James McArdle, Sosie Bacon and Neal Huff. Craig Zobel (Compliance, The Hunt) has directing all episodes of the 7-part drama, which revolves around a small-town Pennsylvania detective who investigates a local murder as life crumbles around her. Ingelsby, Zobel and Winslet are also executive producing the project with wiip’s Paul Lee (Dickinson) & Mark Roybal (Doubt, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World), Gavin O’Connor (Miracle, Warrior) and Gordon Gray (McFarland, USA, Secretariat). Mare of Easttown will premiere this Sunday, April 18 on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
