MovieScore Media has announced a soundtrack release for the German animated film Back to Gaya. The album is dedicated to Academy Award-nominated composer Michael Kamen who passed away during the composing process and the production of the film. The score was completed with a selection of Kamen’s unused compositions from previous film projects by a team headed by the composer’s long-time associates Steve McLaughlin and Christopher Brooks, including Ilan Eshkeri and Robert Elhai. The soundtrack will be released on January 24, 2012 both digitally and on CD. For audio clips and to order the album, visit Screen Archives.
