Murray Gold (Doctor Who, Torchwood, Gentleman Jack, Quiz, Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil, A Very English Scandal) has composed the original music for the new Sky holiday special Roald & Beatrix: The Tail of the Curious Mouse. The film is directed by David Kerr (Johnny English Strikes Again) and stars Dawn French as Beatrix Potter, Harry Tayler as the young Roald Dahl, as well as Jessica Hynes, Rob Brydon, Nina Sosanya, Bill Bailey, Alison Steadman and Nick Mohammed. The movie is inspired by the true story of when 6-year old boy set off on a big adventure to meet his favorite author, Beatrix Potter. John Hannah is narrating the comedy drama. Hartswood Films is producing the project for for Sky Studios. Roald & Beatrix: The Tail of the Curious Mouse will premiere in the UK on Sky One on December 24 and will be available to stream on NOW TV on the same day.

What is the piece of music at the end of Roald and Beatrix, during the end tiles. so haunting loved it. Great escapist programme and score, such a relief at present.
