Hardy is also producing the project with Shawn Dailey.Perry has previously contributed original songs to Peter Sollett’s Freeheld, as well as Anne Fletcher’s Dumplin’ (co-written with Dolly Parton), for which she received a Golden Globe and Grammy Award nomination. Citizen Penn was originally set to be released at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and is now awaiting a new premiere date. (Variety)
