Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, Gemini, I’ll See You in My Dreams, Divorce, Her Smell, Sorry for Your Loss) is the composer of the upcoming FX on Hulu limited series A Teacher. The show is created by Hannah Fidell (6 Years) based on her 2013 feature of the same title (scored by Brian McOmber) and stars Kate Mara and Nick Robinson. The drama examines the complexities and consequences of an illegal relationship between a female teacher and her male high school student. Fidell and Mara are also executive producing the project with Danny Brocklehurst (Safe, The Stranger), Michael Costigan (Stoker, Cyrus) and Jason Bateman (Ozark, The Outsider). DeWitt has previously collaborated with Fidell on her last feature A Long Dumb Road. A Teacher will premiere this fall on FX on Hulu.
DeWitt’s other recent projects include Brett Haley’s Netflix film All Together Now, which just premiered on Netflix last Friday, as well as Chad Hartigan’s Little Fish and Peter Sattler’s Broken Diamonds.
