W.G. Snuffy Walden (The West Wing, Friday Night Lights, Nashville, Felicity) is the composer of the new CBS drama Tommy. The show is created by Paul Attanasio (Bull, Homicide: Life on the Street) and stars Edie Falco, Michael Chernus, Adelaide Clemens, Thomas Sadoski, Russell G. Jones, Olivia Lucy Phillip, Joseph Lyle Taylor and Vladimir Caamaño. The drama follows a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles and uses her unflinching honesty and hardball tactics to keep social, political and national security issues from hindering effective law enforcement in the Southland. Attanasio is also executive producing the CBS Television Studios production with Amblin Partners’ Darryl Frank & Justin Falvey (The Americans, The Haunting of Hill House) & Tom Szentgyorgyi and Christine Moore (The Code). Walden has previously scored Amblin Partners’ CBS shows Under the Dome and Reverie. Tommy will premiere on February 6 and will air every Thursday night on CBS. Visit the official show website for updates.
Walden also continues to co-score CBS’ SEAL Team (with A. Patrick Rose), which will return for the second part if its third season on February 26.
