Roque Banos (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead, The Machinist, Sexy Beast, In the Heart of the Sea) has recently recorded his score for the upcoming British thriller His House. The film is written and directed by Remi Weekes and stars Wunmi Mosaku, Sope Dirisu and Matt Smith. The movie follows a young refugee couple who makes a harrowing escape from war-torn South Sudan, but then struggle to adjust to their new life in a small English town that has an evil lurking beneath the surface. Ed King & Martin Gentles (Howl), Roy Lee (It, The Lego Movie), Aidan Elliott and Arnon Milchan (12 Years a Slave, The Revenant) are producing the New Regency production. Banos has previously scored New Regency’s 2018 feature The Girl in the Spider’s Web. His House will premiere later this month at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
As previously reported, Banos also has Jacob Chase’s horror thriller Larry and the Spanish drama Adú coming up.
