Accidental Records will release a soundtrack album for the National Geographic documentary The Cave. The album features the film’s original music composed by Matthew Herbert (Disobedience, A Fantastic Woman, Gloria Bell, Life in a Day, Temple). The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 6, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Cave is directed by Feras Fayyad and and follows the documentarian as he returns to his native, wartorn Syria to follow a dedicated team of female doctors who tirelessly treat casualties in an underground hospital while battling systemic sexism. The documentary premiered at this year’s Toronto Film Festival and was released in select theaters last month by National Geographic.
