Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, The Raid series) has composed the original score for the upcoming Disney+ original movie Lady and the Tramp. The film is directed by Charlie Bean (The LEGO Ninjago Movie) and stars Justin Theroux, Tessa Thompson, Kiersey Clemons, Thomas Mann, Janelle Monáe, Yvette Nicole Brown, Ken Jeong, F. Murray Abraham and Sam Elliott. The movie is a re-telling of Disney’s 1955 animated classic about a pampered house dog and a tough but lovable stray who embark on an unexpected adventure and, despite their differences, grow closer and come to understand the value of home. Andrew Bujalski (Results) & Kari Granlund wrote the screenplay. Brigham Taylor (The Jungle Book, Christopher Robin) is producing the project. Trapanese has previously collaborated with Bean on the TV series TRON: Uprising. Lady and the Tramp will premiere on November 12, 2019 on Disney+.
