Paul Haslinger (Underworld, Halt and Catch Fire, Crank) confirmed in a recent interview with The 405 that is reuniting with director Paul W.S. Anderson on the upcoming film adaptation of the Capcom video game Monster Hunter. The film is written and directed by Anderson and stars Milla Jovovich, Diego Boneta, Tonya Jaa, Ron Perlman, Meagan Good and T.I. Harris. Anderson (Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon) is also producing the project with Jeremy Bolt (Resident Evil, Pompeii) and Robert Kulzer (Fantastic Four, Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments). Haslinger has previously scored Anderson’s features Death Race, The Three Musketeers and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Monster Hunter is set to be released on September 4, 2020 by Sony Pictures/Screen Gems.
Haslinger has also recently scored the Netflix original movie The Dirt, which premiered last month, as well as the thriller The Perfection, which will premiere on Netflix on May 24.
