Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Dredd, Wormwood, Walking with Dinosaurs 3D) has announced that he is the new composer of the political drama series Designated Survivor. The show is created by David Guggenheim (Safe House) and stars Kiefer Sutherland, Kal Penn, Maggie Q, Adan Canto and Italia Ricci. Neal Baer (Under the Dome, ER) serves as the showrunner of the 10-episode third season. Sutherland is also executive producing the Entertainment One production with Mark Gordon (Saving Private Ryan), Suzan Bymel (Touch), Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past), Aditya Sood (The Martian) and Peter Noah (Tyrant). Sean Callery (24, Homeland) and Robert Lydecker (xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Iron Fist) have previously scored the first two seasons of the show, which aired on ABC. Season 3 of Designated Survivor is expected to premiere in 2019 exclusively on Netflix.
