Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for Steve McQueen’s heist thriller Widows. Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Dunkirk, Pirates of the Caribbean) who previously composed the music for the director’s 12 Years a Slave has composed the film’s original score. Also expected to be included are the songs from the film. As previously reported, Sade has contributed the original song The Big Unknown to the movie. The soundtrack is set to be be released physically on November 23, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A digital release is expected to come out earlier in November. Widows starring Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Cynthia Erivo, Colin Farrell, Brian Tyree Henry, Daniel Kaluuya, Garret Dillahunt, Carrie Coom, Jacki Weaver, Jon Bernthal, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Robert Duvall & Liam Neeson will be released in theaters nationwide on November 16 by 20th Century Fox.
